About Verkaufsoffen Heute

Radif Partners reads the shop opening acts of the sixteen German states and the ordinances, general orders and official gazettes of the towns, records every approved Sunday with its occasion, area, hours and reference, and writes “not yet published” while a town has decided nothing. We promote no shop and no mall.

Why this site exists

Anyone wanting to know whether shops in their town open on Sunday finds plenty of lists, but rarely the town’s own decision. Some lists carry dates that were cancelled long ago, others roll last year’s dates forward. This site does the reverse: it lists only what a town has officially published, links the source and says openly where nothing has been published yet. It also explains, for each of the sixteen states, what the law allows.

Who publishes it

The publisher is Radif Partners, a company that builds tools from public rules and data. Radif Partners is not a public authority, a law firm or a retail association, has no link with any town or state government and uses no coats of arms or logos. The site promotes no shop, chain or shopping centre and contains no affiliate links.

Where the data comes from

The rules come from the sixteen shop opening acts, such as the North Rhine-Westphalia act or the Saxon act; the constitutional frame from Art. 140 of the Basic Law and the Federal Constitutional Court judgment of 2009. The dates come from the ordinances, general orders and official gazettes of 101 towns. How we check is under method; how we correct, in the editorial policy.

Your data

The finder and all calculators run in your browser. The town, state and period you choose are neither sent nor stored; the calendar file is created on your device. There is no account and no form. Details are in the privacy policy.

What the site does not do

It does not replace the town’s notice or legal advice. Whether an individual shop actually opens on a released Sunday is up to that shop. We add short-notice cancellations and court rulings as soon as the town publishes them.
